Digital Atlas of Australia
The Digital Atlas of Australia, lead by Geoscience Australia, brings together, curates and connects trusted location-based data from across government into an interactive, secure, and easy-to-use online platform.
During my time on this project in 2023, I supported marketing efforts through the revitalisation of the Digital Atlas’ visual branding, developing a new style guide and broad range of accompanying communication products and promotional material in preparation for the platform’s official release. I worked closely with subject matter experts to ensure all visual assets accurately represented geo-spatial data layers and the functions of the platform whilst ensuring all designs adhered to WCAG accessibility requirements.
Additionally, I developed typography guides, layout structures and graphic elements for the Digital Atlas of Australia’s website and provided visual assets and advice to Laundry Lane to produce a high-quality animated video to further promote the Digital Atlas and visually explain its capabilities.
